THUNDER AV

THUNDER AV, part of the THUNDER reflector family, is a professional modular industrial floodlight featuring specially designed anti-vibration mounting brackets.

It is engineered for extreme and demanding operating conditions, with a housing made of extruded aluminum. The light source consists of high-efficiency LED chips delivering up to 160 lm/W, mounted on high-quality PCB boards.

Light distribution is achieved through premium PMMA optics, available with various beam angles. For installations at greater mounting heights (above 8 m), a specially designed narrow-beam optical system is recommended to ensure the required illuminance levels on distant surfaces.

High-power versions of the floodlight are manufactured using a modular system consisting of 2, 3, or more independent modules (M2, M3, M4, etc.). Each module is equipped with its own dedicated power supply, ensuring continuous and reliable operation even in the event of a failure of one module.

The luminaire operates within an input voltage range of 150–250 V AC. In the event of a voltage surge above 250 V, it is equipped with overvoltage protection (NTC), which automatically disconnects the luminaire to prevent damage to its electronic components.

The luminaire is designed to operate reliably in extreme ambient temperatures ranging from -30°C to +60°C. In addition, if overheating occurs at ambient temperatures exceeding 95°C, the luminaire activates its Intelligent Temperature Management (ITM) protection system. The ITM system automatically reduces the output power to maintain a safe operating temperature, extending the service life of both the LED modules and the driver. Once the temperature returns to normal operating conditions, the driver automatically restores the luminaire to 100% of its nominal output.

The luminaire is designed to allow replacement of the LED modules and power supply without disassembling the fixture, simplifying maintenance and minimizing downtime.

The specially engineered anti-vibration mounting brackets provide exceptional stability and safety in environments exposed to intense vibrations and multidirectional forces acting through 360° along the X, Y, and Z axes. The mounting system also allows the luminaire to be tilted and precisely positioned with a rotation angle exceeding 190°.

The bracket incorporates an integrated anti-vibration damper made from a premium-grade elastomer specifically designed to absorb mechanical vibrations. The damper is highly resistant to weather conditions, UV radiation, aging, and corrosion, while maintaining its elasticity across a wide temperature range to ensure long-term durability and reliable performance.

Thanks to its robust construction, the THUNDER AV is ideally suited for demanding applications such as road construction projects, construction sites, mining facilities, heavy industry, and other harsh environments. It is available with IP65 or IP66 ingress protection, providing excellent resistance to dust and water. Its compact mechanical design and IK10 impact resistance also make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor lighting applications.
